Brief History

The flagship company – Nagode Industries, which started as the brainchild of a visionary man Mr B. B. Garg, has since grown into a diversified entity with about five dynamic and fast growing competent organizations. Each organization has developed into the market leader or one of the leading players in its own field.

Incorporated in 1988, Afriglobal group has over time, expanded operations from Lagos to branches throughout Nigeria in Abuja, Kano, Aba and Onitsha, to effectively service its customers.

Currently, beyond Nigeria, we have operations in Cameroun, Ghana, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Egypt. We also have offices India, China and South Korea. However its international outlook notwithstanding, the Afriglobal Group of companies has remained true to its African Origin.

Mr. Nigel Lardner

Mr. Nigel Lardner is a seasoned lawyer and pragmatic business manager who worked actively in the Banking sector for nearly 25 years. He worked at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc. for 10 years and was at various times Head of Treasury, Head Consumer Banking and CEO, UBA Capital & Trust. He has attended several executive training programs, including the Bank of Boston (London) Credit Officer Training and the London Business School Accelerated Management Program.

Mr. Maneesh-Afriglobal Group

Mr. Maneesh Garg | GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. Maneesh Garg is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully transformed the Family business, Afriglobal Group from a trading and distribution company of raw chemicals and soft commodities to include other industries covering Healthcare, supply chain management and integrated logistics.  He has a first degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Oxford, UK and a Master’s Degree in Economics at the North-Western University, US.

Mr. Sandeep Kapoor | GROUP EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr Sandeep Kapoor has over 29 years’ experience in marketing and sales across consumer, industrial & services businesses, including 5 years in East and West Africa. He has a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi & MBA from IIM Ahmadabad. Currently he serves as the Group Executive Director.

Mr. Ayo Ajose-Adeogun

Mr. Ayo Ajose-Adeogun is a qualified Chartered Engineer who has demonstrated advisory & line leadership and project delivery successes over the last twenty-five years working on three continents.

He has over fifteen years of C-Level responsibility in the oil and gas industry prefaced by successful strategy executions in high street retail, new media and FMCG.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Oando Refinery & Terminals at Oando PLC.  His earlier experience include leadership and advisory roles in Cadbury Nigeria PLC, Marakon Associates in the UK, and John Brown Engineers & Constructors, UK.

He obtained a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, UK, in 1990, and an MBA from London Business School, UK, in 1997.


 

NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr. Ayo Balogun

Mr. Ayo has over 25 years’ experience in production, sales, supply chain, marketing, business development and strategy in Africa (Nigeria, Morocco and South Africa), France and the UAE, across Manufacturing and Retail of Consumer Goods. He has worked on the development of new products, brand portfolio rationalization, production outsourcing, and turnaround of both production and retail organizations across geographies.

Ayo is a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School, with an M.Sc in Management. He also has an Executive Masters in Public Administration from the Maxwell School in Syracuse University and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos.

Ayo also has an Advanced Certificate in Conflict Studies from The Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration (PARCC) of the Maxwell School.

Mr. Tani Fafunwa

Mr. Tani has over 20 years of Senior Management experience in the Information Technology industry.  After graduating with an MBA from Stanford University he returned to Nigeria to lead the operations of Resourcery Ltd. a small IT company selling computers. By focusing on changes in technology, forging strategic partnerships with global technology leaders and attention to customer’s needs, Resourcery Plc has become the premier systems integrator in West Africa providing complete solutions to enterprise, service provider and government clients

Tani served on the industry advisory board to the Federal Minister of Communications Technology between 2011 and 2015 as a member of Cisco Systems’ Partner Operations Advisory Board (EMEA) and the Cisco Partner Executive Exchange. He currently serves on the boards of Pagatech, Emel Corporate Solutions and Triversa


NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr. Femi Adeyemo

Mr. Femi has extensive experience in Strategic Consulting especially in areas of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), operations reviews, strategy development and implementation as well as organization redesign and financial management. He currently works with Oando PLC as the CFO/Executive Director- Finance

Before joining Oando PLC, Femi was the Associate Principal, McKinsey Incorporated, one of the world’s leading consulting firms. Prior to joining McKinsey Incorporated, he was the Financial Controller/Head of Operations at First Securities Discount House (FSDH), a leading investment house in Nigeria; he also worked with PwC as an Investment Banker/Auditor.

Femi Adeyemo possesses a Master’s Degree in Finance from the London Business School, a Master of Science in Engineering (Metallurgy and Material Science) from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Ibadan. He qualified as an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1991.

Over the years we have been able to expand our activities from Nigeria to Africa and even beyond Africa. In Africa we are present in Cameroun, Ghana, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Egypt. Beyond Africa, we are also present in Dubai (UAE), India, China and South Korea. Although now a global entity, Afriglobal group has remained true to its African origin.
